Shahab Hossein, Tom Hanks may co-star

Director of Iran-US joint movie ‘The Night’ says famed Iranian artist Shahab Hosseini may costar with Hollywood actor Tom Hanks.

In a media interview with the director of the horror flick ‘The Night’ starring Sahab Hosseini revealed that the talented Iranian artist is likely to appear in a new flick with Tom Hanks.

The project is a biopic on Iranian-American physicist Ali Javan who proposed the concept of gas laser in 1959.

Kourosh Ahari also said that “Tom Hanks may play the role of an advisor to the professor.”

Ahari’s latest flick premiered in US cinemas three months ago and grabbed a great deal of public and popular attention.

The movie is the first Iranian-American movie to be screened in the US and Iran. According to a media report, ‘The Night’ is set to receive theatrical release in the UK.
